Transitioning into Spring

Ahhhh spring... the season that gets us all excited that summer is around the corner! Spring can be a difficult season to dress for, especially for Canadians (welcome to winter 2.0)!

As much as I love fashion for every season, spring is fun to transition to because I can use pieces from my winter wardrobe and summer wardrobe!

Layering, colour, and warmth are all key factors to consider when creating a spring outfit. For 2021, pastels and bright colours seem to be trending! With neutrals still playing a huge role in most of our closets, try pairing them with a pastel! As you can see in the picture I have provided, I am pairing a double lined pair of faux leather paper bag trousers (wow, thats a mouthful) with an asymmetrical pastel blue top! Don't be afraid to play with symmetry and texture; you can create some amazing outfits!

Evidently, I'm not wearing a coat here... but I really should be! I would pair this look with an oversized grey peacoat! Simple, chic, perfect for the weather!
